Living together
ACTIONS AIMED AT THE MOST VULNERABLE CLIENTS
Principles and values at Flower Camping Le Médoc Bleu :
Our job is a welcoming job that requires respect for others and sensitivity to people’s weaknesses. With this approach we have identified vulnerable people in cyclists, bikers and disabled people.
The cyclists, often alone, take a break after hours of effort in the heat. Their mode of travel allows them to carry only the minimum necessary. They need a place in the shade, close to the toilets. They want to eat, drink and have internet access to check their email and research their route.
Bikers also have a limited load. Tired after hours of driving in their protective gear (pants and leather jacket, boots and helmet), under the sun. They ask for food, drink and entertainment without leaving the campsite.
People with physical or mental disabilities (PAHPM*) wish to blend in with the clientele, which is varied in age, geographical origin and social background. They are looking for the benevolent and attentive gaze of all and particularly of the seasonal workers, at the reception, at the snack bar and in the animation activities.

Instructions for seasonal workers:
People with physical or mental disabilities (PAHPM*) are sensitive to the respect shown to them personally as well as to the people who accompany them. Aware of this, each seasonal worker must, to the extent of the means conferred by his or her position, ensure that the PAHPM* is confident and successful. It must remain attentive to the needs expressed by the PAHPM*. These attentions must become priorities when necessary. These signs of vigilance towards the PAHPM* invite everyone to act in the same way. This creates a general climate of trust and brotherhood between all the holidaymakers on the campsite.
In the same way, each seasonal worker is asked to be aware of the fragility of cyclists and motorcyclists, by provoking discussions with them in order to respond as well as possible to their specific material expectations (times or places to eat, do laundry, wash or repair and protect their bike or motorcycle). These holidaymakers can travel alone, they are then sensitive to the interest in their destination and their origin. This allows the sharing of human moments.

Indeed, at Flower Campings we believe that “Camping is human”.
